FAQ

Agarwood (oud) is a fragrant resin formed in Aquilaria trees as a defense response to injury or fungal infection. It takes decades for the resin to mature, and only a small percentage of wild Aquilaria trees produce it naturally. Its rarity and complex olfactory profile have made it one of the most prized aromatic substances for over two millennia.

Apply a small dab to pulse points — inner wrists, behind the ears, and base of the neck. The warmth of your skin helps the scent develop. Oud oil is highly concentrated; a tiny amount lasts 8–12 hours. Avoid rubbing, as this breaks the scent molecules and shortens longevity.

Store upright in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. The bottle should be tightly sealed to prevent oxidation. When stored properly, pure oud oil can age gracefully for many years, developing deeper and smoother notes over time.

Yes. We work directly with licensed harvesters in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand who follow sustainable wild-harvesting practices. All our agarwood is legally documented under CITES regulations. We never source from plantations that use artificial inoculation methods.

Light the tip of the incense stick and let it burn with a small flame for about 5–10 seconds. Gently blow out the flame; the stick should glow red at the tip and release a fine, fragrant smoke. Place it in a heat-safe incense holder. Never leave burning incense unattended.

Wild oud forms naturally over decades in old-growth forests and possesses unparalleled depth, complexity, and longevity. Cultivated oud comes from farmed trees, often chemically induced to produce resin faster. While cultivated oud can be good, it typically lacks the multi-layered richness of wild agarwood.

Agarwood bracelets absorb skin oils over time, which can darken the beads. Store the bracelet in a soft pouch away from moisture and direct heat. Occasionally wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid water, perfumes, and harsh chemicals. With proper care, the beads will retain their natural luster and subtle fragrance for years.
